Aslout is a northern Lebanese village. It stretches along the green hills, and when spotting it from the opposite side of the hills, your eyes have no choice but to rest on Aslout. This village is part of "Zgharta" district.

AMIOUN - NORTH LEBANON


IconAmioun (or Amiun), probably transliterated from the original Amyûn, is the capital town of the predominantly Greek Orthodox area of Koura District in the North of Lebanon.

This chapel of Sts Sergius and Bacchus in Amioun, Tripoli-Koura diocesis, built in Middle-Ages as the chapel for a now disappeared monastery. Restored in 1873. The icon of the two saints was painted by Mikhaïl Mhanna al-Qodsi, in 1885.
