Sandi Toksvig

Comedian and writer
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark. As her father, Claus Toksvig, was a foreign correspondent for Danish television in several countries, she was brought up in Europe, Africa and the USA. Toksvig studied law, archeology and anthropology at Girton College, Cambridge University.
She has three children with her former female partner Peta: Jessie (1989), Megan (1991) and Teddy (1995). She lives in Surrey, near Peta and the children, with her new partner Alice Arnold, who is an actor and reader of the BBC Radio 4 Shipping Forecast.
