Martin is an international award winning contemporary folk musician performing original and traditional Folk music for Coffeehouse & Festival audiences, classic Jazz standards for Dinner audiences, and Educational & Fun music for Children.

Martin is president of "Johnson Hall, Inc" a non-profit performing arts center Gardiner, ME and is the producer and MC of a monthly"live" concert event held at "Johnson Hall" which features Maine musicians in an acoustic venue and is filmed by Frontiervision cable Local 9 television and is broadcast to the Augusta and surrounding area. Martin is also a member of Zingo Zango Generic Jug Band. In his spare time (what time) Martin plays mandolin and waits tables.
