Deborah is a Colorado native, who has traveled the world and worked in many challenging positions. She has one son and has worked with youth throughout her career. She is outgoing, friendly and ready to meet with anyone seeking information or wanting to help advance the mission of Inside/Out Youth Services.

Deborah has over 25 years of experience in non-profit management, social justice, youth services and under-represented population facilitation and management. With a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and a master's degree in Human Development & Social Policy from Northwestern University, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization.

She brings her commitment to advancing the rights and opportunities of GLBTIQ youth in our area by working in partnership with other groups to build local, regional and national strength as a collective grassroots force, united towards a common goal of creating a safe and responsive community for all youth.

Deborah assumed the role of Executive Director for Inside/Out Youth Services in January 2007, after spending several years as a Policy Advisor and Special Projects Coordinator for the Cayman Islands Government. Prior positions include associate director of a private family foundation and manager of a corporate foundation and contributions program. She has also served on numerous boards and commissions throughout her career.
