Jari Sillanpää

Jari was born in Ludvika, Sweden. He is one of the Finland's most popular singers. He became famous after winning the Seinäjoen Tangomarkkinat tango contest in 1995.
Sillanpää's first album, released in 1995, is the highest-selling record in Finland. He has since represented Finland in Romania's Golden Stag festival in 1997, where his song, "Remember Me", was voted as a winner.
Sillanpää represented Finland in Eurovision Song Contest 2004 and his song "Takes 2 To Tango" received 51 points, taking the 14. place and giving Finland the best ranking in fifteen years.
Although popular with the ladies, Sillanpää came out in February 2006.
