Howard Shoup

Costume designer
Hollywood costume designer for more than 150 films. He got the 1959 Academy Award for Costume Design for Black-and-White films, for The Young Philadelphians; in 1960 for The Rise and Fall of Legs Diamond; in 1961 for Claudell Inglish; in 1964 for Kisses for My President; in 1965 for A Rage to Live. Howard Shoup died of respiratory failure.
