Reina Roffé
(November 4, 1951 - living) Argentina
Writer, novelist
Born in Buenos Aires. At the age of 17, she wrote her first novel, entitled Llamado al Puf, for which she received the Pondal Rios Prize as the best young author of the year. In 1981, Ms. Roffe was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study at the International Writing Program in Iowa.
Roffe has been living in Madrid since 1988, where she contributes to several literary magazines and conducts writing workshops and literary conferences. Among her novels are El cielo dividido, (The Divided Heaven), La rompiente, and Monte de Venuses.
