Having co-chaired the Seattle/King County MSM, STD/HIV Task Force and chaired the AIDS Vaccine Trials Unit Community Advisory Board, David has been at the forefront in the battle against HIV/AIDS. He joined Lifelong in 2000 as the Director of Education and Prevention and became Director of Programs in 2003.

He continues this fight through his work with Lifelong and by co-chairing the Seattle/King County HIV/AIDS Planning Council. In the Fall of 2007, David assumed the role as Lifelong's Executive Director.
