Irit is a graduate of The Be'er-Sheva College of Visual Arts, where she studied from 1989 through 1992.

She worked as an art instructor for children and as a book illustrator, publishing two children books with her illustrations (1992, 2003).

In the past years she has worked and gained broad experience at the art studio of the international artist David Gerstein.

Irit currently resides and works in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Irit's works convey lesbian sexual identity from the first moment of one's confronting and understanding her own sexual identity, to her existance in the provervial societal closet, and her enventual coming-out and displaying her honest, true sexuality.
