A boy band born in Boston in 1984, that had world wide success for a few years, it started back in1988. They are Donnie Wahlberg, Joey McIntyre, Danny Wood and the brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight. I liked some of their songs, for a while everything they released just went straight to the top. Girls just seemed to go wild over Jordan Knight, who went solo eventually many years later after they split in 1995, but with little success.

Jonathan Knight from boy to man band New Kids On The Block came out as gay, and has a boyfriend.

In April 2008, after months of speculation, Donnie Wahlberg confirmed to CNN that the group had reunited with plans to record new material and to stage a tour.
