Vince Micone
(? - living) U.S.A.

Policeman
Vince was selected for Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department Gay & Lesbian Liaison Unit in 2003, shortly after joining the MPD Reserve Corps. Vince has been involved in the LGBTQ community, having help to organize Capital Pride, AIDS Walk, GLAAD Media Awards, and volunteering for Whitman-Walker Clinic and Food and Friends. He is a former Chairperson of the Dupont Circle Advisory Neighborhood Commission, proudly serving as an openly gay elected ANC Commissioner for many years.
When Vince is not busy protecting the streets of DC for justice and democracy (okay, writing parking tickets), you can find him running marathons. He is preparing for his eleventh marathon (some say he's crazy) and enjoys running through Washington and down by the Potomac.
He also enjoys running with his friends in DC Front Runners and is already preparing for the Gay Games VI in Montreal in 2006! Oh yeah, Vince also has a job. He works for the Federal government. Vince is a Sun Devil (ASU) and a Trojan (USC). He moved to DC for "one semester" while in graduate school in 1990, caught Potomac fever, and stayed. Vince and his partner, Thom, a retired Georgetown cheerleader, have two cats, a loving family, and fantastic friends.
