Michael Merrill (1951 - March 9, 1989) Canada - U.S.A. Gay activist Michael wrote on gay liberation, and on Buddhism. He lived for a time at the Hartford Street Zen Center, in Castro, San Francisco, a predominantly gay institution which Michael co-founded.
