Andrew Lare, Ph.D. in Meteorology at Florida State Univerisity in 1992, is a meteorologist/climatologist, previously employed by Government Services, Inc. (a L-3 Communications company) based in Chantilly, VA, is currently employed by Keane Federal Systems based in McLean, VA.

Dr. Lare was contracted out to NASA as Project Manager and Senior Support Scientist at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD, with GSFC Scientist, Dave Starr. He is now contracted out to Raytheon as Environment Manager for the NOAA Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS) Program in Silver Spring, MD.
