Bisexual artist, born as Magdalena Carmen Frieda Kahlo in Coyoacan,a suburb of Mexico-city, who mingled Mexican folk art with classical and modern style. Frida had a troubled marriage to artist Diago Rivera, but had also affairs with women.

She is probably Mexico's most famous woman painter. Her work is autobiographical and occasionally lesbian in content.
