James A. Crabe

James A. Crabe, born in Los Angeles, California, sometimes is credited as Jimmy or Jim Crabe, also known as Aubrey. Emmy Award nominee in 1977.
Crabe was open to trying all types of techniques and was never afraid of shadows in his cinematography. He also had to operate with a small budget, but never let his limited resources bother him.
With the stage name of Aubrey, he was also an illusionist who has made numerous TV appearances; also known for his skill with billiard ball manipulation. Crabe died in Sherman Oaks, California, od AIDS related complications.
