Charles Windsor
(November 14, 1948 - living) U.K.
Prince of Wales
Charles Philip Arthur George Windsor, the eldest child of Queen Elizabeth II, was made Prince of Wales in 1958 and is the heir to the British throne. He served as a pilot and commander in the Royal Navy from 1971-76, and in 1981 married Lady Diana Spencer in one of the century's grandest royal weddings. The match proved a bad one; the couple separated in 1992 and were divorced in 1996, the year before Diana's untimely death. The union produced "the heir and a spare," Prince William (born 1982) and Prince Henry (also called Harry, born 1984).
Prince Charles says he didn't do it - though few Britons knew exactly what it was he didn't do. Still, newspapers and airwaves Friday hummed with hints and repeated denials. Charles took the highly unusual step Thursday of issuing a statement naming himself as the senior royal at the center of unreported but persistent rumors and denying that the alleged incident ever took place ... Some observers said that by confronting the gossip, Charles has given it a much wider audience."
The incident in question is an alleged homosexual relationship between Prince Charles and his aide, Michael Fawcett. For years, rumors have swirled around Charles that he loved boys and men as much as he loved women. However, the power of the British Crown has been sufficiently strong as to quash such stories from ever successfully going public.
Prince Charles strongly denies rumours that he had a sexual relationship with Michael Fawcett, one of his closest advisers.
A former servant, George Smith, says he recalls walking into a room within St James Palace and catching the Prince of Wales and Michael Fawcett in a sexual act. He then made taped allegations of being raped by another servant.
George Smith, allegedly, poured his heart out on tape to Princess Diana, however that tape appears to have gone missing from her personal effects, if it ever existed.
The claims are not new, but the names and details have never been revealed and the Royal Family is pulling out all the stops to try and keep it that way.
Thus, we cannot say Prince Charles is straight and falsely accused, nor bisexual, or even gay, and covered up by the establishment...
