Mathieu is a Montrealer who can just as readily quote Britney Spears as Oscar Wilde. He has a Masters Degree in Journalism from Carleton University and completed two years of his PhD, probing the roots of circuit parties and tackling the evolution of gay body culture. Editor of the French movie magazine "Famous Quebec", and cultural reporter for TFO.

Mathieu ChanteloisMathieu was a cast member on U8TV: The Lofters, which was broadcast online and coast-to-coast on Life Network. He created, hosted and co-produced SoGay TV, the first original series aired on PrideVision TV. SoGay TV was recently nominated for a Gemini Award for it’s engaging Coming out episode, hosted by Mathieu.

Mathieu now lives in Toronto with his partner of four years, Marcelo. He is the editor of the highest circulation French movie magazine in the country, Famous Quebec, and works as a cultural reporter for TFO and now, as a PrideVision Shooter.

When asked which male celebrities Mathieu would most like to have a go with in a vat of Jell-O, he answered "Richard Simmons, Divine and Mini-Me... but not all at the same time."
