Born in Montevideo, Uruguay. Her father is Dutch and her mother Argentinian. After living in Uruguay, Mexico and Guatamala she moved to Holland in 1974. She teaches masterclasses Art Photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague.
