Robert graduated at Parsons School of Design, NYC, then started out designing for the likes of Anne Klein and Isaac Mizrahi.

Robert hails from West Hollywood, California. He continues his 10-year career at Mattelm that he joined in 1995, where he's a Principal Designer for Barbie Collectibles, and is looking to bring his miniature fashion confections to a much larger scale. Robert was a contestant in the third season reality TV series "Project Runway". He was eliminated during the seventh episode held August 23, 2006.
