Pope
Don Rodrigo de Borja y Doms was born in Jàtiva, Spain. Paying a good amount of money, he was elected pope in 1492.
Bisexual, besides several young male lovers, from his lover Vannozza Catanei he had four children: Giovanni, Cesare, Lucrezia and Jofré.
His simoniac politic and scndalous behaviour was branded by Savonarola, a dominican friar of Florence, who during his homilies called him publicly - "simoniac, heretic and unfaithful". Alexander VI, annoyed, condemned Savonarola to the stake.
